While many Hispanic people have come to Canada to find a better life and future for their families, many others escaped terrifying situations, and often, persecution. Follow the lives of four individuals from Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Chile, who fled the violence and social unrest in their home countries as they adjust to new lives in Canada. Will they be able to leave their past behind and start over in a new country?
